Bring you Chanukah Menorah to BSI this week! December 17
Help us light up the BZ lobby with the glowing lights of our chanukiyot.  Parents are invited to join us for this festive event at 6 PM.  Candle lighting, singing and snacks for all!  We can’t wait for you to join us.

Camp Ramah Scholarships Available
Scholarship money for new and returning campers at Ramah Darom is available from the B’nai Zion Helen Hanan Memorial Scholarship Fund.  If you are interested, please click here to apply.

Our friends at WRCB have approached B'nai Zion with an amazing opportunity.  We've been asked if we could provide some students to light Chanukah candles for the show 3 Plus You.  The segment would be taped at 8:30 AM this Friday, December 12.  If you are available to join us at the WRCB studios, please email Jason ASAP.  Thank you!

Our Third Annual trip to Barnes & Noble for Hebrew School.  There will be Chanukah activities, games, crafts for all the students.  A special student Chanukah concert will conclude the evening at 6 PM.  Plan on doing your Chanukah shopping and earn money for BZ at the same time.  Plus, earn money for BZ by using our Book fair code, 11478120, when shopping in-store  Dec. 3-5) oronline (Dec. 3-10)!

BSI Breaks for Thanksgiving!

We hope you have an outstanding Thanksgiving.  There will be no BSI on November 26. Classes will resume at Barnes & Noble on December 3.

Wear Your Ramah T-Shirt Day @ BSI, Nov 12
Join all your BSI friends as we celebrate the 8th Annual Wear Your Ramah T-Shirt Day.  This is a day to show your love for the best camp movement ever!  Bring or wear your Ramah T-Shirt to BSI on Nov. 12 and we will take a community Ramah T-Shirt pic.  Contact Jason if you have any questions.  :-)

New Shabbat Morning Program Debuts: November 15
Join us this Saturday for our new Shabbat morning program for children at B'nai Zion.  We’ll be offering parallel services and programming for our children.  Jr. Congregation (3rd to 6th grade) begins at 10 AM in room 10, Bagrut (8th to 10th grade) begins at 10 AM in the library and Mini Minyan (Pre-K to 2nd grade) begins at 10:45 AM in room 6.   It will be a wonderful program that our children will enjoy.  If you have any questions, please contact Jason.

Drop off Turkeys beginning at 9:30 AM!  The Food Bank has requested smaller turkeys this year.  Please consider bringing 2 small turleys instead of one big bird.

The Bagel Table - USY Fundraiser: Sunday Nov.16
CHOOSY (the BZ USY chapter) will be selling bagels at Sunday school this week.
Plain bagels $1.50,
Bagel w/ cream cheese $2.00,
Cup of OJ $1.
All proceeds will help CHOOSY members get to our December convention.

BSI Simchat Torah Celebration!
This year for Simchat Torah, we will behaving an exciting BSI program.  Classes will be held Thursday, October 16.  Please plan on joining us for this fun and festive afternoon and evening celebration of Torah!  All students are encouraged to wear yellow.  Parents should check the info below and join us in our color-themed hakafot.  If you are planning to stay for dinner, please RSVP to Marciatoday.  :)
