*Please note: Snack will be served during Yom Kippur to our pre-B'nai Mitzvah children that attend child care and Jr. Congregation services.  We respect everyone's personal customs, however it is our policy not to serve food to anyone who has already taken on the obligation of B'nai Mitzvah.  Thank you!

Havdallah for Yom Kippur
We invite all of the children in our community to help us end Yom Kippur (Oct. 4 at 7:45 pm)with Havdallah.  Furnished with glow sticks and spice packets, they will ensure that our year continues to be sweet and filled with light and goodness.  Contact Jason Cathcart if your children will be able to participate in this meaningful part of our holy day.

A Magical Picnic Under B’nai Zion’s Sukkah: Oct. 12, 2014 from 11 am-1 pm
Young adults and families welcome!
Bring a blanket, picnic lunch (dairy or parve please), and enjoy the magical talents of Magic Mac the Physician Magician!  Desserts and refreshments provided by B’nai Zion

This year for Simchat Torah, we will behaving an exciting BSI program.  Classes will be held Thursday, October 16.  Please mark your calendars now and plan on joining us for this fun and festive afternoon and evening celebration of Torah!
 
Our new attendance program requires all
students to attend a minimum of 12 Shabbat
services at our synagogue in the course of any given year. These include Jr. Congregation, Friday nights or Saturday mornings. Any student meeting this goal will receive the Jr. Congregation Honor Roll prize at the end of the year
